What is the money in a fund used for?
Funds are used to help individuals who need assistance with spay and neuter of multiple animals that are causing financial hardship. Many times out of the kindness of their heart, these individuals end up taking in multiple strays and do not have the ability to pay for spay and neuter services. The problem then multiplies past the point of no return. 100% of the funds is dedicated to animals in Mississippi.
Who can start a fund?
Any business or individual who would like to make a difference. A fund can be used for business recognition or a fund can be created in honor or memory of a person or pet.
How is my fund recognized?
All of the funds are displayed on our website homepage and are also recognized on our Facebook page.
How long does the fund last?
The fund stays up for a rolling year but can be renewed each year.
How do I know that my fund is making a difference?
We will send you email updates with pictures to show your donation in action.
What is the minimum amount to start a fund?
The minimum amount to start a fund is $5,000. However, if you would like to donate less to the general fund, we would be very grateful. Ultimately, every penny counts!!
